Bill Lyerly and Shelby Wall at Tavern in the Grove

GARNER, NC — Kitty and I enjoyed a lovely Sunday afternoon back in June when we visited my friend Grey Satterfield’s Tavern in the Grove. Bill Lyerly was playing for friends and fans with his sidekick Shelby Wall on bass. A wonderful time was had by all. Tavern in the Grove is located on Old Drugstore Road near the intersection of I-40 and Highway 42. Click any photo to enlarge it.
