Summer tanager feeding fledgling

WASHINGTON — Summer tanagers are regulars at our suet feeders. When the pair  get their brood out of the nest, the male usually will bring young birds  by the feeder and stoke their bellies and show them where the easy meal is to be found. Click on any photo to enlarge it.
