4000 & 8000

CHOCOWINITY, NC — The Sonic Bonnet NS #4000 was Norfolk Southern's first GE AC44C6M — a Dash 9 rebuild in 2015. She visited Marsden Yard in Chocowinity, NC on July 12, 2018. She is distinguished by a great paint scheme and a nice, simple number.  As luck would have it, Norfolk Southern’s #8000 ES44AC was in the yard at the same time giving all us OCDers some satisfaction.
