A quick stop at Stumpy Point

STUMPY POINT, NC— On a day-trip to the Outer Banks last month, I took the slow road through Hyde County to avoid construction traffic. An added treat to the longer drive was a chance to get by Stumpy Point. I don’t get there often, so it’s a real treat.
