Willie’s shop

ALLIGATOR, NC —Willie and Feather Phillips moved to Alligator in Tyrrell County some years back. Willie was a crabber and Feather taught art. This was Willie’s shop back in 1991. As you can see, he was working on building his own work boat. Feather moved on from teaching in public schools to founding Pocosin Arts, and Willie founded Full Circle Crab Company. There are no finer folk to be found anywhere. Fort Landing is still home.
