A young bear snooping the yard

WASHINGTON, NC —  We had a bird feeder torn down back in June. Squirrels attack our feeders all the time, but this was a feeder not readily pulled loose and taken across the yard.  So, we set out the night cam to see if we could get a peek. Boy were we surprised. I especially like the way he takes a sniff of the blooming amaryllis before checking out the camera.
