Norfolk Southern Monster

CHOCOWINITY, NC — There were all sorts of weird moves in Marsden Yard today. There was no traffic late yesterday afternoon. This morning shuffling was heavy enough that Carolina Coastal was delayed by more than two hours getting in the yard. While five units sat in the yard, E49 arrived with two Union Pacific and one Kansas City Southern. They were immediately melded with three of the in-yard units to make a six-unit lashes.  Here they are just beginning to build a train that is expected to go back out tonight.
