Pennsylvania Heritage

CHOCOWINITY, NC — This is one beautiful locomotive. It’s one of Norfolk Southern’s Heritage Units. A series of  locomotives were painted around 2012 to salute the railroads which were now part of NS. The Pennsylvania Railroad salute is a GE ES44AC. She spent a few hours here in Marsden Yard on Thursday. I caught a previous visit to Chocowinity in January 2015. Click here for video.
